ok so in a nutshell... my old engine im swappign out is a USDM sr20, and the one im swapping in is a JDM red top. are they the same or is there a huge difference? to my knowledge i thought they were the same but the only reason i ask is because, the red tops whole throttle body area is different than the usdm one. the only difference is that the usdm has the throttle body set up higher, and the red top is actually the complete opposite, it sits lower AND seems as if whoever installed it, flipped it around. so therefore they look completely different even though they are the same. will the engine still install intom my car with out any problems? or do i have some modifying to do?
Here are some pics of the USDM one.. ![]() ![]() and the JDM one(i know its black but some retard painted it like that, crappy job but it is a red top...i hope lol) ![]() ![]() ![]() so any info is helpful thanks

The highports are what sits the TB lower and the lowports is when the TB sits higher, these engines are different, but prob have the same power, although there has been rumours that the high port DE is better....
