Hey guys i noticed recently that i have to push my pedal ALL THE WAY down for it to shift smoothley, and the clutch pedal kinda sticks about a half an inch down from where it usally stays, if i tap it with my foot, it pops right back to where its supose to go? I have a 1996 200sx se, and the clutch was replaced about 8months ago....it doesnt seem to slip or anything, just these two problems...im thinking maybe it could be my pedal assembly or master cylinder maybe? Is my car hydrolic or wire clutch system? Any words of advise or help in figureing and fixing these problems?

I'm not sure what the problem could be, but it's a cable(wire) clutch system.

you could adjust your clutch cable so that you dont have to depress the pedal all the way to the floor. If that doesn't work then idk. you could also spray some lubricant on the return spring for the pedal assembly and see if that lubes it up (they can get a little sticky)

I would take a look at the bushing where the cable goes through the bracket. I had one that the bushing started breaking off and kicking the cable out at an angle.

Your cable needs adjusting. It sticks because the pedal is going over center on the pedal spring and doesent have enough pressure from the pressure plate to return the pedal to catch the pedal spring. If you cant get enough adjustment, the cable has stretched and needs to be replaced.

Here is the adjustment procedure, (stolen from another forum  )

"when clutch cable is replaced with a new one, fully depress clutch pedal 50 times as a break-in procedure( to pre-stretch the clutch cable ), then adjust the cable, push withrawal lever by hand until a resistnace is felt, then tighten the adjusting nut, turn back adjusting nut 2.5 to 3.5 turns, and then tighten lock nut, withrawal lever play should be around 2.5 to 3.5mm, also make sure cruise control switch is also adjusted properly under the dash, by the clutch pedal mechanism....."

i had that problems one week ago, I just replaced the pedal`s cable with a new one and holy remedy!! now all gears shift very smoothly and easy . first try adjusting the cable, if the problem persist just buy a new one, it wont take more than 10 or 15min to get it in place.

yes, there is a metal piece witch connects the cable it self with the clutch on your engine, there are 3 metal pieces, a regular nut that you can loose a little, then a metallic arm with hooks to the clutch-arm it self and then a circular metal piece which is the one you have to tighten in order for the cable to be steady/adjusted, you just need a #11 wrench and a pair of pliers, with the wrench you hold the nut, and with the help of the pliers get the circular piece as tighten as possible, then press the clutch pedal several times to assure the best adjusting on your cable, start the engine and shift all gears to make sure they enter easy and smoothly, reverse also! , use the car normally and probably by the end of the day you will need to adjust the cable a little bit more and that should do it, i followed this in my car and so far everything is just great with my clutch jeje ;) , oh sorry for my bad english hope you fully understand the instructions, please see attached picture
