what octane number have you`re premium gas got ?
here in Holland we`ve got euro 95 (octane 95) and euro 98 (octane 98)
and with euro 95 i`ve got my timing at 12 degrees but want some more

Excellant write up ;)

We have 95 in the UK as normal petrol , and i'm running my timing at 15 degrees

Something to consider when comparing US fuel vs. fuels in Europe. We rate our fuel as RON + MON/2, while in Europe the fuel octane rating is strictly in RON.

European 98 octane RON has about the same detonation threshold as 94 octane R + M/2 would in the US.
