I think we're both used to being a little over the top. :P For a few Hp and a few Ft-lbs over the entire rpm range the JWT cams are good, but they're made for a street car with little or no supporting mods. It sucks but the only other option is a regrind. If your looking for a number, it's hard, because if you buy your cams first without knowing the tolorances and specs inside the other parts of the engine, you then have to build the engine around the cam profile. A little too much lift or duration without enough head flow and you get a horrible running engine. Or the valve to piston clearance is too small, then you have to get the pistons fly cut to fit with the cam. Because it's custom and most everyone settles with JWT theres not much in the way of concrete information. You'll have to do alot of research before applying anything.

At the risk of causeing you a lot of work, according to my engine software with a head flow of 100cfm on the intake and 88cfm on the exhaust @.350" a dual pattern cam set with a Intake of 270* (.394") and exhaust of 280*(.433") with 9.5:1 compression makes mid 140ish hp at 7500 and 125ish ft/lb at 5500. Thats based on sheer numbers under premium conditions.

It's up to you, if you want cams with very mild results but don't have to think about and can buy and drop in, your only option is JWT. If you want more power than 90% of N/A ga16's prepare to crunch alot of numbers and do some pioneering. I apologize if it's not the answer your after exactly, :( but it's the best i've got without a heap of information.

i like you.

autosprint uk do a good regrind for £80 (the one on the right, 275deg/9mm lift)
http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/8901/pict0329m.jpg
they take 2.5mm off the base circle so you can fit an extra stock shim under the bucket and use your original stock shims above
and i just file a flat on the locating dowels to adjust the timing

This pic is a GA cam? ummm you have more info? I think for a agresive n/a cam you can try 280 / 11.00mm, my friend have a custom regrind 282/10.5mm and he put 163whp on a GA16DS @ 7,300 i believe.

no sorry alfsentra  they,re CG cams (1.0, 1.3, piper and autosprint)
but same size lobes/buckets/shims as a GA tho eh
the 275deg/9mm lift one was too wild for my 1348 daily tbh, and i,ve been using a 260deg/10mm lift autosprint inlet and (piper exh) for the past few months

I'm a tad lost too.
JWT - http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/custom ... ?PartID=11 - put together a decent package from what ive been told. I have also been told by a mechanic here in Australia, that directly dealt with the team at JWT, they are no longer making cam kits etc.

That said. I think the cams listed in the link above, shall suit your set-up.

this is verified. Here is the e-mail between me and JWT. I just had to find out for sure. :)

Hi,
Yes, the rumors are true. We ran out of our GA16DE cams a while ago and unless we can get at least 25-30 confirmed orders to do a run, we will not be making these again.

Didn't one other company make a set of cams for the GA? I thought I had read that somewhere?
